The Mokokchung District Volleyball Association (MDVA) celebrated its silver jubilee by hosting a thanksgiving service on Oct 30, 2020 at its Treasurer’s residence, I. Temsü Jamir, Sangtemla  ward, Mokokchung.

At the thanksgiving service, short jubilee greetings were broadcasted online by Er. R. Temsu Aier and Chiden Yaden from Kohima, first and second president of MDVA respectively. In their greetings, they reminisced about the formation of the association and the hardships and memories of the association.

Limasangba, Convener, Jubilee Planning committee, took the members down memory lane by highlighting a glimpse of the association in the past twenty five years.
He also urged the new generation of MDVA to take new steps to further promote the game of Volleyball.

A virtual release of the Jubilee souvenir and felicitation of MDVA members was initiated by Tsukjempokba, Convener, Souvenir Committee and the jubilee report was given by Saruba, Secretary, MDVA. The thanksgiving prayer was pronounced by Monglier Tzüdir, Youth Evangelist, MTBA and the thanksgiving service was chaired by Pretty Tzüdir.
