
Mokokchung world veterinary day program held under the theme Veterinarian response to the covid-19 crisis on 24th April, 2021 at the Clark Theological College (CTC) hall Aolijen, Mokokchung being organized by Nagaland Veterinarians Association in collaboration with department of animal husbandry and veterinary services Nagaland.
The program was attended by the veterinary officers and staffs of the veterinary department and other veterinarians from the district. The program starts with the key note address by Dr. B.M Sunep Chief A.H and Veterinary Officer Mokokchung spoke on the importance and significant of the world veterinary day. He also highlights on response and role played by the department in the district during the outbreak of Covid-19, where the veterinarians acted as an essential service contributor during the pandemic.
Short speeches were delivered by Dr. Sentitula IFS DFO Mokokchung and Rev. Dr.A.temjen jamir principal CTC Aolien. Dr.sentitula while in her speech spoke on the importance of preservation and conservation of forest and its flora and fauna for the survival and existence of all the living beings in the world. She also calls upon all to be sincere, faithful and discipline in any profession we do.
While Rev. Dr. A. Temjen Jamir principal spoke on the activities of the college related to veterinary projects for the skill training to students. He also said that preserving nature is the most important for human existence. Special dedicatory prayer for the day was pronounce by Rev. Dr. A. Temjen jamir principal CTC Aolijen.
