The Mopungchuket Community Tourism Society (MCTS) will be organizing the premier annual Süngkotenem Angling Festival from August 9 to 14, 2021 at Süngkotenem Park, Mopungchuket.

Tickets will be available at the venue and the timing will be from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm on all days of the weeklong angling festival. All relevant protocols prescribed by the Mokokchung District Task Force COVID-19 will be enforced.

With the state government further easing lockdown regulations, the Mopungchuket village council has also relaxed all restrictions on visitors to the village and has reopened its tourism sector.
