Mokokchung, 02 AUG: Tongpang Ozüküm, Minister, PWD (Housing & Mechanical) Govt. of Nagaland inaugurated the PWD Rental Housing at Marepkong ward, Mokokchung on 2nd August 2022.
Speaking in the program Tongpang congratulated the contractor for timely completion of the work. He also appreciates the EE PWD Mkg for their constant monitoring and supervision of the project for which the minister said that this achievement is another feather in the cap of the department.
He also thanked the land owner for their free donation of land for this project, and their far sighted scope for development. He also expect the same and to emulate the example by other land owners in around Mokokchung town for greater development. The Minister also calls upon the department to have a comprehensive plan how to manage this rent house properly.
The rental housing project is funded by HUDCO and the aim of the project is to accommodate govt. officers and staffs housing facilities on rental and also with an aim to generate department revenue. Technical report was given by Er. Nungsang Jamir, Executive Engineer PWD (H) Mkg Division.
Earlier, the program was conducted by Er. Taribilong, SDO, PWD (H) Mokokchung Sub-Division. Dedicatory prayer was pronounced by S. Mar Pastor Marepkong Baptist Church, short speech by Chief Engineer Housing Nagaland Er. Tiameren. Vote of thanks was pronounced by Er. Limadangit Walling, EE (Design) Chief Engineer Office, Nagaland Kohima.
