Two day training (22nd & 23rd Aug 2022) on food processing & value addition for SHGs under Divisional Management Unit Mokokchung is underway at Forest Complex, Marepkong Mokokchung.

A total of 27 nos of SHGs from 9 villages (Mongsenyimti, Mopungchuket, Changtongya New, Süngratsü, Longmisa, Chakpa, Yaongyimsen, Merangkong and Salulamang) are participating in the program. The program is organized by the DMU Mokokchung under NFMP JICA Project in co-ordination with Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Mokokchung.

The inaugural Program was chaired by Mr. Akumtoshi, Team Leader (FNGO). Keynote address was given by Dr. Sentitula IFS, Divisional Forest Officer, Mokokchung followed by inaugural speech by Dr. Keviletsu Khate, Senior Scientist & Head KVK, Mokokchung.

The Technical session for the program was chaired by Ms. Moaienla Longkumer, Technical Officer, KVK, Mokokchung.
