Mokokchung, 31st August 2022 (www.nokinketer.com): Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh IAS inspects Dikhu Bailey Bridge situated at 12 KM NH 202 Mokokchung – Tuensang roads.
The other officers in the team includes commandant 23 Assam Rifle, Viplove, SP Mokokchung and from the Tuensang counterpart Addl. D.C Longkhim, Phulebhe K. Yepthome and National Highway 202 Mokokchung – Tuensang Er. L. Akum and council members from Longsa village.
After the inspection on the spot the team due to poor condition of the bridge it was decided to allow only Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) and passenger carrying vehicles to ply through the bridge and all the goods carrying (Loaded) vehicles are to be diverted through Longmisa village Mokokchung to Thronger village Tuensang till further arrangement is made.
