“CHILDLINE Se Dosti” is a weeklong national campaign that aims to make citizens, stakeholders in CHILDLINE 1098. The campaign involve a range of events, activities across the country for spread awareness on CHILDLINE 1098 emergency phone helpline number for children in need of care and protection.
With the directive of the Childline India Foundation (CIF), along with the nation, Childline 1098, Mokokchung celebrated,’ Childline Se Dosti’ Week’ from 14-20th November,2022. Childline 1098 Mokokchung organised different activities, marking the celebration.
Childline visited Unger Village under Mokokchung District and sensitized the parents. Also, on the same day, Childline provided stationeries to about 50 children.
Childline 1098 Mokokchung also conducted a signature campaign which was launched by The Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, Childline Advisory Board, chairman, Shri Shashant Pratap Singh ,IAS , during a meeting of the administrative officers. Every signatories, pledged to help any children in distress,in need of Care & Protection. More than 200 people participated in the campaign.
Childline 1098, Visited The Lemjem Hospital & Woodland Nursing Home Mokokchung and as mode of our awareness campaign, handed over a frame with Childline logo to both the hospitals.
Childline 1098,in collaboration with District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Mokokchung, created a Child friendly room in Police station -II, Marepkong, Ward , Mokokchung, for which, Childline acknowledged Superintendent of Police, Smt Aotula T Imchen, for alloting the room. Every year under the directive of Childline India Foundation, different activities are organised during the’ Childline Se Dosti’ to create awareness and to make friendship with stake holders and citizens, in making the society a child-friendly one. The week-long awareness campaign culminated on 20th November, 2022
