Contested the general election from NPF party from 29 Jangpetkong Assembly Constituency in 2008 but lost.
Served as the Vice President, Naga People’s Front 2009-2013 and later elected to the 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly from the same party and constituency and held the post of:
1. Advisor: Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency
2. Parliamentary Secretary: Lanour & Employment, and Geology & Mining.
3. Chairman: Development Authority of Nagaland & Nagaland Bio-Resources Mission.
4. Parliamentary Secretary: Information Technology & Communication, Development Authority of Nagaland & Nagaland Bio-Resources Mission.
Re-elected again to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly held on 27/02/2018 from BJP party and hold the post Advisor: National Highways, Treasuries & Accounts.

VOLUNTARY SERVICES
State coordinator of the “Indian Campaign to Landmines under – Indian Institute for peace, Disarmament & Environmental Protection Nagpur: India and Geneva Call Geneva: Switzerland” from 2002 till date. A world wide Humanitarian Campaigned of the United Nation against the use of Anti Personal Landmines. Played active role in engaging the NSCN (IM) and GPRN/NSCN (NSCN-U) signed the Geneva Call “Deed of Commitment” against the use of Anti Personal Landmines. Gender Discrimination and Children’s issue. Attained “Human Rights Training” organized by the Indian Institutes for peace, Disarmament & Environmental Protection at Nagpur, India and by the Geneva Call in Geneva, Switzerland.

Joint veterinary & animal husbandry department and served as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon from 1992-1997 at ICDP Dimapur and at veterinary hospital Kohima.

Served as AGS Khar Students’ Union, Information Secretary, Nagaland Veterinary Students’ Association.
