The President and members of the Nagaland Veterinarians’ Association (NVA) and senior officials from the Department of A.H. & Veterinary Services Dimapur today held a felicitation program to honor and congratulate Dr. A. Imsuyanger Ao, Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO) Longleng on being awarded  the prestigious “IVACON-2021 Best Field Veterinarian Award” (IVA Nagaland Chapter) for his contributions in the Veterinary profession during the recently concluded International Virtual Conference on ‘Emerging Challenges to Veterinary Profession’ organized by the Indian Veterinary Association (IVA) in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on the 19th & 20th June 2021.

The brief felicitation program was chaired by Dr. Imomanen Tzudir, Dy. CVO Dimapur and Dr. K.N.Zubemo Humtsoe, President NVA presented the Certificate of Award to the awardee on behalf of the IVA and NVA. Dr. A. Imsuyanger Ao accepted the award and expressed that this award was possible because of God’s mercy and help and support from all the professional colleagues, staffs and farmers cooperation.

The NVA President in his speech expressed happiness and appreciation to Dr. A. Imsuyanger Ao for his dedicated and sincere efforts in the betterment of the veterinary profession and his passion to reach out and work with the grassroot level personnels and farmers. Dr. Humtsoe also shared that the award is a recognition to his outstanding contribution  and  also a challenge to live up to the future expectations of the veterinary fraternity of Nagaland.
