District Task Force, Mokokchung carried out random testing for shopkeepers, barbers, street vendors, laborers and public volunteers around Mokokchung Town from 26th July- 5 Aug 2021.
A press release from the Chief Medical Officer Office stated that a total of 597 individuals were tested and out of which 5 were detected positive for COVID 19.
The Urban Surveillance Team remarked that the turnout among the local shop owners was below expectation and suggested that it is very important for the local shop owners to get themselves tested and know their status to check and control the pandemic.
